EKKO Studio / 2022 - Current​​​​

Contract UX Research, Architecture, & Design

Served as a UX Designer and Architect on engagements with clients including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Performance Food Group, and Google. Led UX strategy, user research, and design execution across web and mobile platforms. Contributed to enterprise-scale projects involving information architecture, interactive prototyping, and cross-platform design system development. Supported internal and external teams through embedded roles, collaborative consulting, and independent delivery within complex stakeholder environments.

​BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee / 2024 - 2025​​​​

Contract UX Research, Architecture, & Design

Led the UX redesign of a broker-facing insurance platform. Conducted in-depth user interviews, a large survey, a full content audit, and a heuristic analysis to inform strategy. Oversaw migration of the design system from Sketch/InVision to Figma and designed scalable, broker-specific components. Delivered high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and taxonomy recommendations to support long-term content governance. Mentored internal teams on Figma workflows and helped establish a foundation for future scalable digital experiences.​

Performance Food Group / 2023​​​​

Contract UX Research, Architecture, & Design

Led UX design for a mobile ordering app across restaurant, retail, and institutional customers. Designed complex user flows and mobile-first wireframes reflecting backend inventory logic and multi-location account structures. Created high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma and validated them through internal testing. Extended and documented new design system components to support mobile scalability and long-term growth across PFG’s digital ecosystem.

Google / 2022​​​​

Contract UX Research, Architecture, & Design

Contributed to two parallel efforts within the Ads Privacy and Safety team. For the Ads Transparency Center, supported architecture and design of global-facing tools for ad discovery, filtering, and transparency, collaborating closely with product and legal stakeholders. In a separate initiative, led a comprehensive audit of content and ad reporting experiences across major platforms, mapping user journeys and synthesizing competitive insights into strategic UX recommendations. Work supported regulatory alignment, platform clarity, and long-term design improvements across reporting systems.

Our Daily Bread Ministries / 2008 - 2022​​​​

Digital Art Director & Director of UX Design

Served as Director of UX Design, building the department from the ground up and leading a portfolio of transformative initiatives. Launched a global design system adopted across international teams, integrated accessibility into digital and print experiences, and led major overhauls of the mobile app, subscription experience, and online donation flow, amongst other high profile projects. Key outcomes include a 70%+ increase in annual donations, a 31% boost in premium subscriptions, and elevated accessibility standards across all products. Championed UX strategy, team growth, and agile implementation across the organization.

 

Served as Digital Art Director, leading a multidisciplinary design team in producing digital assets across web, email, social, and mobile platforms. Ensured brand consistency and strategic alignment while evolving the visual system through iterative design practices. Maintained a high standard of execution in a fast-paced environment, adapting creative output to reflect emerging trends and support organizational goals in digital communication.​​
