Book Design
Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of publishers and authors on both cover and interior book design. I find this process especially rewarding—it’s a space where creative concept development meets structured design thinking. I enjoy crafting bold, clever covers that catch a reader’s eye, while also applying my user experience expertise to design clean, readable interiors that support the content and make the reading experience seamless.

For this particular title, I had the opportunity to reunite with authors I had previously collaborated with on an earlier book in their series. Instead of relying on stock imagery, I created the cover art from scratch—designing and cutting a full-size stencil, then sifting ash through it to produce a high-contrast source photo. This hands-on approach gave me far more creative control and flexibility in post-production, resulting in a final design that was both visually striking and deeply integrated with the book’s theme.
